Capricorn yoga A45_214.gif is practiced in conjunction with Yogastrology.

Capricorn rules the knees. Doing yoga can bring up many feelings. With the knees, these feelings often relate to fear, especially fear of moving forward.

Yoga empowers a gradual awakening. The process begins with a willingness to slow down, to pause and apply the balm of time. Then make the choice to befriend yourself, to stay focused, and to listen to inner messages. Attune to the inner voice. Allow yourself to be guided into tender embrace with wounded, fearful parts of yourself where it is possible to transform fear into love.

Rich, strong poses like Utkatasana offer a unique, visceral experience of the three C's of dharma (right action): commitment, compassion, and contentment. In making a commitment to yoga, compassion will help to release fear, and to allow gentle waves of contentment to wash over you.
