Der britisch-amerikanische Astrologe Ken Gillman (kurz für Kennet Gillman[1]) wurde am 7.6.1937 um 7:57 Uhr in Leigh-on-Sea (England) geboren.[2]
Er starb am 15.12.2019 in Golden Bridge, New York (USA).

Biographie

Gillman war Statistiker, mit Abschluss des London's Institute of Statisticians, und Mitglied der Royal Statistical Society. Er betrieb ein eigenes Unternehmen für statistische Beratung.

Seit 1960 widmete er sich der Astrologie. In den 1960er Jahren hielt er sich zeitweise in Deutschland auf, in den arabischen Ländern und in Großbritannien; 1970 zog er in die Vereinigten Staaten.[3]

Astrologie

Als Astrologe spezialisierte sich Gillman auf Genetik, Blutgruppen und Statistik.

Im Jahr 1969 wurde ihm die Ehre zuteil, den allerersten Vortrag eines Astrologenkongresses der AAGB zu halten. Von 1970 bis 1973 war er ein Vizepräsident der ISAR, von 1973 bis 77 gab er deren Zeitschrift Kosmos heraus.[3] Bekannt wurde er jedoch vor allem als Herausgeber der Zeitschrift Considerations, die er im Jahr 1983 zusammen mit Axel Harvey ins Leben rief. Seit 1988 war er der alleiniger Herausgeber, die Zeitschrift erschien bis 2006, als sie wegen steigender Kosten und gesundheitlichen Problemen Gillmans eingestellt werden musste - aber in sämtlichen Ausgaben mittlerweile online eingesehen werden kann. Manchen galt Considerations als die beste Astrologiezeitschrift überhaupt.
